Another week in the books, and the weekend is now upon us.
Food events happening this weekend:
* Cape May Harbor Fest got started today and will continue all this weekend.
* The Blueberry Festival in Moorestown and the Summer Solstice Wine Tasting at the Absecon Lighthouse will be getting underway later this afternoon.
* On tap (heh heh) for tomorrow is the NJ Craft Brewers Beer Festival in Camden and the Baymen’s Seafood & Music Festival in Tuckerton.
Details on all these events can be found by going to the Festivals of Food link.
And speaking of the Festivals of Food, one more event has been added. A Taste of South Jersey, which will have local restaurants, caterers and hotels showing off their culinary skills, will be taking place on Monday, June 23rd (that’s this Monday) at the aquarium in Camden. Check the FoF link for more information. That brings the total number of events to a nice round 60.
The Courier-Post has an article about the changes taking place with the new ownership of Braddock’s Tavern in Medford, now known as simply Braddock’s. It’s been a few years since we’ve eaten there, but I always remember the food being very good and that the menu tried to stay within the colonial theme. I will be very curious to see what the end result will be there.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend, and if you go to Tuckerton for the Festival you may or may not see us there as well.
