This must be Italian week or something, because a trio of South Jersey restaurants are having special events that give you The Boot. First up, it’s Scaturro’s in Marlton with a Wednesday night wine dinner that features the Islands of Italy – Sicily and Sardinia. On Friday the 14th, DiPaolo’s Italian Ristorante in Penns Grove is having A Night in Italy dinner with special ethnic music – at least that’s what their email notice said! And finally, Thommy G’s of Audubon takes you on a Tour of Italy Wine Dinner featuring the wines of Zonin.
If that’s not enough wine for you, Knife & Fork in Atlantic City challenges you to fight – a wine fight! Yes, every Thursday night in November is a Wine Fight night. The information assures me that it’s simply flights of wines with the same varietal grapes but from different regions squaring off and not actual violent competitions taking place, and for that I say thank goodness!
STILL not enough wine for you? Sure, fine, OK…I got more wine for you. How does Friday the 21st at The Mad Batter grab you? (Hopefully, not in the ticklish regions!) That night is a US Coast to Coast wine dinner, and will feature wine and food from East and West Coasts.
And finally, a stunned and humble thank you from us to Kelly Heyboer at nj.com for naming our little bloggy as Blog of the Day!
