Toms River and Bordentown Gettin’ Into the Peachy Groove

Wow…people are really getting into the Jersey Fresh Peach Month spirit!

You already have SJ Culinary Events’ Just Peachy event happening this week.

Now we hear that this Wednesday, the Toms River Farmers Market is having a peach party! No swimsuits and sunscreen needed; just your love of Jersey peaches. They will be giving away baskets of peaches during the day as part of the festivities. And if that’s not enough for you (and really, considering how AMAZING the peaches are this year, that should be enough), you will be able to sample peachy items at the market from Bistro 44, Victoria on Main, Visions of Sugar Crumbs and The River Market.

And if you’ve saved enough room, this Friday will be the Bordentown Historical Society’s annual Peach Social at the Historic Friends’ Meeting House on Farnsworth Avenue.

Simply put: if you’re not enjoying Jersey peaches, you’re not trying!
