Thanksgiving 2010 Dining Events

Let’s just say, for arguments’ sake, that it’s a week before Thanksgiving and you don’t have plans yet…waitwaitwait, it’s a week before Thanksgiving and you don’t have plans yet?!?!? What have you been waiting for? What’s wrong with you? Why I oughta…I oughta give you some dining options then.

Last year I gave you a big song and dance about how Turkey Day is best spent at home and so on and didn’t put together a list of restaurants having special dining events. Well, not this year; let’s face it – some folks are not into the whole ‘hearth and home’ thing and would rather go out and celebrate. And that’s fine. So, here’s a selected list of places that are either having a special Thanksgiving menu or are presenting a prix fixe meal:

Atlantic County
The Inn at Sugar Hill

The Knife & Fork Inn
Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, Atlantic City.
2PM to 8PM.  $38 per person, $17 for kids 12 and under.

Ram’s Head Inn

Burlington County

Buffet 11:30AM to 5PM.  Sit-down dinner 1PM to 7PM.

Cafe Madison

High Street Grill

2PM to 8PM. $30 per person, $15 for kids under 12.

If you like the comfort of home on Thanksgiving, but not necessarily the hours of cooking at home, check out these special take-home options. BUT – if you want to go this route, don’t wait too long: some places are only taking orders through this Friday.

  1. The wife and I love to go out to dinner on Thanksgiving. It is a free day off from cooking for me! The kids go their grandparents and we get a mini break. 🙂
    Thanks for posting these, now I must decide which one to make reservations for.

    1. A loss of a family member is always tough, but it can hurt even more when it’s around a holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas. Hope you will be able to find some joy in this and every Thanksgiving.
