I will do my very best to not fall (heh heh) into using the “time to fall into autumn” cliche.
Autumn has most certainly arrived, and there are a number of cooking classes taking place this month to get you into the culinary mood of the season.
Kitchen Kapers in Moorestown has an elegant Autumn Five Star cooking class on October 8 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. The cost is $65 per person and $95 per couple.
Fischer’s Pelican Restaurant in Sewell holds a monthly cooking class, and for October the theme is A Fall Harvest of Gourds. The class will be held on October 12 starting at 6:30PM, and the class is $35 per person.
Sur La Table in Marlton is doubling your pleasure (dangit – was trying to go cliche-free…oh well) with two fall-themed classes: Elegant Fall Cupcakes on October 13, and a Fall Dinner Party 101 on October 14. Both classes start at 6:30PM and run for two hours.
Have you checked out the list of cooking classes at the new Culinary Arts Center at Burlington County College in Mount Holly? Well you should! They are offering a great variety of classes, including Pumpkins and Squash: Fall’s Favorite Foods on October 18 from 6PM to 9PM. the cost is $89 per person.
And we end with Cape Cuisine: Preserving the Fall Harvest Part II at the Cape May County Library on Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House. The classes offered at the library are free, but you do need to register in advance.
