Epikur Writer of the Year Award
Epikur Magazine and Bacchus Selections are hunting for Philly’s best food and booze writer. Why?
Because they want to give that person a treasure trove of cash, booze, and gifts worth over one thousand dollars.
To do this, the crew at Epikur and Bacchus drew up a list of their favorite writers, about 40 in all. The final selection was given to Keith Wallace, who narrowed the list to about twenty nominees.
“There are so many amazing writers in the field. It was a tough decision to make,” says Keith, “It ended up taking months to make the selections. For me, the experience really highlighted how deep
the talent pool is here in Philly. Any one of these folks could be the next breakout writer.”
Between now and February 1st, the title of Epikur Writer of the Year is up for grabs. Everyone is encouraged to vote for their favorite local author at Epikur Magazine’s website: http://www.winelust.com.
The bottom line:
• Winner of the Epikur Writer of the Year Contest will be given over $1K in cash and prizes.
• The goal is to discover a fresh new talent writing about food and/or drinks in Philadelphia.
• Voting is open from today until February 1st at http://www.winelust.com
• The contest is sponsored by Epikur Magazine and Bacchus Selections.
