If you’re worn out from all that, erm, snow we are all digging out from under, take a load off and check out what’s happening food-wise this weekend.
For classes, competitions, challenges and all points in between having to do with cake, you have to go to the Garden State Cake Show. This year, the even has moved to the Florence V Evans Elementary School in Marlton. Events and classes will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday, so check the website for what’s on tap.
On Sunday, feel free to pig out at Amada’s Pig Out, a 3-course meal featuring a whole-roasted suckling pig. Me thinks that roasted pig at a Spanish restaurant would be a pretty good combination. The cost is $55 per person, and $75 if you throw in the sangria – and who doesn’t like to throw down some sangria now and then, knowwhatimean?
And you still have a chance to get your last little nibbles in for Atlantic City Restaurant Week this weekend!
If you care to venture out of South Jersey this weekend…
Philly keeps on demonstrating itself as the best beer city in the country! Hop aboard the Craft Beer Express tomorrow from 11AM to 7PM and experience a pub crawl that is all about the craft brews. And all this month it’s a Northern Exposure Bar Crawl in the hip and happenin’ Northern Liberties section.
Here’s your cooking class schedule for the rest of the weekend:
