The big noise this weekend is Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival at the Atlantic City Convention Center, but we’ve mentioned that already this week.
It’s also the beginnings of Atlantic City Beer Week, and we mentioned that too.
So…what else can we mention?
It’s Jersey Shore Restaurant Week! Restaurants up and down the coast in Ocean and Monmouth counties will be serving special 3-course menus for only $20.13 or $30.13. It’s a tasty way to help these businesses come back from Sandy.
As part of the celebration, there are some special events taking place during the week. Saturday is The Great Jersey Shore Burger Contest, Charlie Brown, at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como from 1PM to 4PM. Tickets are $25. On April 10, it’s Eat.Drink.Indulge: Tequila at 10th Avenue Burrito in Belmar from 7:30PM to 9PM. And then next Saturday it’s Burgers, Bloodies & Brews at Harpoon Willy’s in Manasquan.
Down Bridgeton way they are having their next installment of Film Food Fest at the Ashley-McCormick Center on East Commerce Street. The theme this time is a soul feast and the movie is “Soul Food”. The fun starts at 6PM.
If you care to venture out of South Jersey this weekend…
It’s an oyster shucking contest at the Oyster House in Philly Saturday at 2PM. Bring your best shucking utensil and join in!
For the wine lovers out there, it’s the Spring Fever Food & Wine Tasting at Branches in West Long Branch 12PM to 5PM on Sunday. The cost is $30 per person.
Here’s your cooking class schedule for the rest of the weekend:
