It’s the Collingswood Farm Fresh Restaurant Week, kids! From July 21-26, restaurants in Collingswood will be featuring the goodness than can be found at the Collingswood Farmers Market. You like the tomatoes you can get from Springdale Farms? See how Chef Mark from Tortilla Press turns those beauties into gazpacho. Or maybe you prefer the heirloom tomatoes from Flaim Farms; in that case, sample the bruschette at Nunzio’s. You get the idea.
Who’s participating? Well, we do know that Tortilla Press, Nunzio’s, IndeBlue and That’s Amore will have Farm Fresh menus. Now there are other Collingswood restaurants that will have special prix fixe farm to fork menus this week as well. They’re participating in SJ Hot Chefs’ Farm to Fork Week, and to paraphase a famous bespeckled TV food guy: that’s another post. The meals being offered for Farm Fresh Restaurant Week will run you between $30-35, and each menu is offering you four courses. What a great way to enjoy the abundance in home grown produce we have here in South Jersey.
