It’s easy to get caught up in the excitment of the celeb chefs that have become such a part of the Atlantic City dining scene. But the hoopla can overshadow the many other chefs plying their craft in the casino restaurants in almost complete anonymity. One such chef was Joseph Muldoon at The Reserve at Bally’s. We were fortunate enough to have attended a brunch at The Reserve back in May 2012 when Chef Joe was there are were very much impressed with the quality of each dish as well as the artistry. Here are a few pics from that experience:
Well, The Reserve has since stopped serving brunch, and Chef Joe has moved on from Bally’s. And last month, he opened his own place, Roberta’s by Joe Muldoon, in Northfield on Tilton Road. Open for a little more than a month, the word out so far is very good.
In an email to us, Chef Joe has this to say about his place: “We serve lunch Monday through Saturday and this would be my first time trying my hand at serving lunch so a lot of time goes into each preparation of food – the same as it always has in each of the fine dining outlets I’ve always operated. We are now serving dinner Wednesday through Saturday and this is a collection of dishes I have come to love throughout my career and we cover a broad spectrum of flavors and ingredients.”
