First Impressions: Atlantic City Bottle Company

Last week, we went to see the new Atlantic City Bottle Company and its Iron Room dining area. I might be getting ahead of myself here, but this place has the potential to become something very special in Atlantic City. It’s not located within a casino, and it’s not even on the Boardwalk, but it will be worth the excursion. After meeting with owners Paul Tonacci and Mark Callazzo, Bar and Restauarnt Manager bartender Lenny Schafer, and Chef Kevin Cronin, as well as seeing them in action, I have a good feeling about this place.   1. I’ve been there three times so far. The first visit was to check out their wine selection, which is amazing. The store is small, but it is packed with interesting gems. It will take several more visits to actually take it in. I ate on the two subsequent visits…the food is just great. The burgers are monumental…but look deeper and you’ll find one of the best small plates menus offered. The pork belly is off the hook, the beet carpaccio is perfect and the charcuterie plate is hard-core candy for the serious foodie. It’s great to have you in town, keep it up ACBC!
