2014 was a busy year for me (more on that soon), and one of the things that happened during the past year was that I became a part of Slow Food South Jersey Shore. I am grateful to be a part of this organization and look forward to the events and other activities we will be planning in the future.
First on the list is this year’s Comfort in the Cold, the annual winter feast and fundraiser for SFSJS. This year the event is being held at Brownies Squared in Mays Landing, where Chef Chris Groome has been making magical things happen in his kitchen over the last few years.
The dinner will take place on January 31 at 6PM (one seating only), and tickets are $80 per person. This event usually sells out, and there are only about 40 seats available, so don’t wait! The menu looks wonderful, and a vegetarian option will be available as well.
