There’s nary a weekend where there isn’t a beer or a wine festival going on in South Jersey these days. And that’s a good thing, because it gives you ample opportunity to sample what our little region is producing these days (which keeps getting better). This weekend, at the relatively-new Burlington County Fairgrounds in Columbus, the Jersey Fresh Wine Festival will be holding sway.
How many wineries will be there? Eleven, according to the information provided. And the majority of them will be from the South Jersey region: Amalthea, Chestnut Run, DiMatteo, Plagido’s, Sharrott, Tomasello, Valenzano and Wagonhouse.
A number of food vendors will be there for the weekend, including Brother Bear BBQ. Farms and other artisan vendors will be on site as well, including Hank Sauce and Hlubik Farms.
The festival will be open from 12PM to 5PM on Saturday and Sunday, and tickets are $25 if you buy them in person. Online you can purchase tickets for $20.
