Got a hankerin’ for some shellfish? No? Well, then, stop reading and go elsewhere!
For those who do have that hankerin’, there’s still time to get tickets for the annual Shellfish Soiree hosted by the Long Beach Island Foundation. They’re calling it a night of “Bay-themed art, film and music,” and will feature a panel discussion as well as a display from the Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum.
Food for the evening should be quite a treat, with Forty North Oyster Farms from Mantoloking and Parson’s Seafood from Tuckerton providing the best from the bay. Four restaurants will be serving up their spins on shellfish: The Old Causeway Steak and Oyster House, Bistro 14, Black-eyed Susans and The Arlington. And ReClam the Bay will be grilling up oysters and clams for your consumption.
The soiree will take place this Friday from 7PM to 10PM. Tickets are $35 a person and can be purchased here.
