Today’s Menu: Moussaka, Homemade Soup, A Fine Selection of Wines…and Spam

Spammity Spam.

Wonderful Spam.

Yes, we have an interesting selection of items to choose from today.

Let’s start with the moussaka: beginning tonight, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Egg Harbor Township is holding its annual Greek Winter Feast. The festival runs through Sunday.

For the soup course, how about a course on soup? Whole Foods in Marlton is having a cooking class tonight with Lindsay Gilmour. Tonight’s theme is “Winter Soups and Stews to Soothe the Soul.” Class is from 7PM to 9PM.

On the wine list we have two wine tastings and a wine class. Auletto Caterers in Almonesson will be having a wine tasting on Wednesday (1/28), while Terra Nova Restaurant in Sewell is having a wine tasting that features wines from the Pacific Northwest on the 29th starting at 7PM. And if you’re looking to learn more about wine, join the Melting Pot Wine Academy! The Melting Pot in Atlantic City is holding weekly wine classes on Tuesday starting this week and going until February 17th.

And for dessert, Spam of course! Break out your favorite Spam recipe and head to Bogart’s Books and Cafe in Millville tomorrow. Bogart’s is having a Spam Cook-Off starting at 5PM on Friday.
